Natalie Hawkins grew up in the Bay Area and was raised in a musical household. She began her career as a stage performer at the age of 3, performing in various talent shows, choirs, and theatre productions throughout the Bay Area. She was crowned Livermore’s first “Livermore Idol” at 15 years old, and transcribed and composed her first choral arrangement as a high school senior. She also performed in lead and featured roles with such theatre companies as Starstruck Theatre (Fremont), TVRT (Pleasanton), and Broadway By The Bay (San Mateo). She studied voice with Pamela Hicks-Gailey.

After creating a YouTube channel at 18 years old and garnering a following of theatre lovers with her Broadway covers under the alias “AvidActress007”, Natalie submitted herself for the first ever Jason Robert Brown karaoke contest and was one of four winners to perform with him on stage at Birdland Jazz Club in New York.

Following this experience, Hawkins began a career as a songwriter and demo vocalist. At 22 years old, she was hired as a composer, lyricist, demo vocalist, and background singer for Ghosts of Download with the legendary punk rock band Blondie.

Shortly after, Natalie relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a singer, and signed with Bump Into Genius / Warner Chappell Music. Her writing credits include Pia Toscano (JLo, David Foster), Stefano Langone (American Idol), Christina Grimmie (The Voice), Savion Wright (American Idol, The Voice), Nicole Millar (Universal Australia), Bobi (Hollywood Records), worked on a Juno Award nominated record with Keshia Chante (Universal Canada), Carlos Marco (Warner Music Spain) and more.

In March of 2018, Hawkins celebrated the release of “Reaching” which became her first record to be featured in a major motion picture, starring and sung by Bella Thorne (Midnight Sun). Natalie also toured the United States and Canada as a background vocalist for alt-pop duo Terror Jr (Atlantic Records).

Natalie is currently working on her first solo album.

She is represented by Beyer Entertainment, and she is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
